Uncle Wang
Uncle Wang in my childhood memory seldom went home and got together with us, although I regarded myself the one who came home the fewest.
He seemed to favor boys.I, a girl, tried hard to please him to get attention, but in vain.
I used to be indifferent to him because he didn't hand over a single candy or an apple to me as I was small mouthwatering for snacks. To be deeper, I adopted this mischievous way to run even with him—another means to get his attention, failed again.
I once looked through my Uncle's four thick photo albums, no single picture of me. However, by that opportunity, I understood the nature of his job more.
As an engineer, nearly 40, he could not marry, for he did not want to break a family due to the instability of his job.
I saw he and his colleagues took photos together enjoyfully after the completion of a project, knowing that he belongs to his job and colleagues, not to us.
I am longing for seeing him again in my hometown.
