My 24-hour Diary
[
Bathroom, brushing my teeth, 7:45 a.m.]
Aunt, you are up, too. En. (Aunt .Z continues sleeping after getting out of the bathroom)
[Study, listening to the radio, 8:14 a.m.]
Yes, I added hot water in the basin (smiling to my grandma).
[Eating room, looking at the stuffed steamed buns, 8:55a.m.]
I haven't drunk any water. Oh, we have to boil some water now.
[Study, reading a book, 9:00a.m.]
I'm coming. (Walking from study to eating room) I love steamed buns stuffed with apple plant and sweetened bean paste.
[Living room, sitting before Zhao Yifan, my eight-month old brother, 9:10a. m.]
Smile at me, Zhao Yifan (making my eyes at him). (To Aunt .Z) Wow, aunt, you curled your hair. When did you curl it? I saw a girl on Bus 44 with such a long and curly hair (putting my right hand to the waist). It must cost her a lot, either in money or preserving the hairstyle.
[Study, sitting on a chair, 9:20a.m.]
(Aunt. Z is reading Huashang Newspaper, saying that she came Xi'an to sweep her new house)
After Chinese New Year, my family’s new house will be complete, too.
(Grandma comes, hurrying us to have soybean milk.)
[Kitchen, holding my bowl, 9:25a.m.]
Who doesn't drink its soybean milk? (To grandpa, reading newspaper before the sill)
Yes, many people are robbed in board daylight (adding sugar to my bowl). There are also similar cases in my university. Most of them lost their cell phones. There is one amazing that a girl lost her cell phone in the Canteen. When she came out of the crowds, her phone disappeared.
I will be much too careful.
[Study, hugging my brother, and crooning pop songs along with sounds from Music Radio,10:45a.m-11:15a.m.]
Zhao Yifan is exhausted after doing business with all his efforts, even aching to cry. While we are dancing, he lays his head on one of my shoulders. It may comfort him a little—therapy of music and a shoulder.
He began pronouncing some vague words, mom and dad. Very cute!
[Balcony, trimming leeks with my grandparents, 12:00a.m.]
(With TV on broadcasting news from Doha, host city of the 15 th Asian Games)
The first gold medal of China may occur on the Women's Shooting Competition. Yao Ming doesn't return from America.
The opening ceremony is magnificent. I am positive that there will be an excellent ceremony in Beijing 2008 Olympic Games, too.
[Eating room, sitting at the table, 1:30p.m.]
I'd like to eat a bun rather than another plate of jiaozi. It is hard to digest.
[Study, revising my blog after eating lunch, 2:13p.m.]
En, I want to drink the soup (replying to grandma).
[Study, still revising my blog, 2:13p.m.- 4:15p.m.]
Busy with blog, removing from old version to Beta.
[Study, sitting on the chair, 4:23p.m]
It's four twenty-three.
The room is warmer than any other one.
Aunt. Z hasn't called yet. She may not need Uncle's help.
[Study, approaching to Zhao Yifan’s face, 4:30p.m.]
He awakes. Oh, my God, he urinated on my bed!
[Study, squatting before Zhao Yifan, 4:45p.m.]
He can't walk. Let me help him (grabbing his feet to move step by step).
[Study, Aunt is practicing Yifan how to sit, and I am sitting on the bed, 4:53p.m.]
It is still a hard task for him.
[Parlor, standing before my grandparents, 5:40p.m.]
I am a little hungry. Aren't you hungry?
OK, meat.
[Parlor, sitting on a chair, 6:00p.m.]
I'd rather text messages to my mother telling her to come next Friday. (Seconds later)
The report says it is not delivered. Her cell phone is POWERED OFF!
[Eating room, giving Yifan some "zaotang" to eat, 6:04p.m.]
He likes it. Next week, I will buy it another time.
[Parlor, reading newspaper, listening to TV, 6:54p.m.]
Who won the first gold medal?
[Washing my face before the mirror, 8:49p.m.]
I have slept for a while. So tired (to Aunt. Z).
(Seconds later, walking to the living room, to grandma) My warm coat is in the wardrobe. Oh, something wrong with the zipper. I can manage it.
I can't. Can you help me, grandpa?
[Study, sitting before the desk, 9:10p.m.]
Here comes to an end of my diary. During these 12 hours, I endeavored to put down all that I said .Yet language is extensive, and what I covered here is only a short period.
Actually, I want to experience its enchantment spontaneously, not worrying that I may lose any sentences.
But this experience is fun!
