Having earrings,I think,makes women suffer a great deal from ancient times in China.
In ancient times,it was a symbol of restraint of women.It was always reminding women not to look around (in order to keep demeanor),or the earrings would slap their faces.
Time is changing fast.Young people now believe having earrings a fad.In the street,I even see a lot who have more than two pairs of earrings on their lobes,of all sorts.
But do you know the great sufferings women undergo behind the shadow of fashion?The ear will become swollen if not cared carefully enough.Or the holes once made may heal,needing remaking in a store of such kind of service.
This unlucky thing occurred to Chunyan,my roommate, because of neglect of using alcohol preventing from germs.Although she said it didn't matter,the incident always warned me of the terror. If you want beauty,you must pay its price.Till now,I do know what this sentence means.
